Honey Mustard Orange Glazed Chicken Thighs

Prep Time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 55 minutes | Serves 4-6


6 skin-on, bone-in chicken thighs

1/2 cup orange juice

zest of 1 orange

1/3 cup honey

2 tbsp yellow mustard

2 tbsp Dijon Mustard

1/2 tsp chipotle Chili powder

salt

pepper


Preheat oven to 375 degrees.

Heat a large 3 qt, oven-safe saute pan or dutch oven over med-high heat. Season chicken with salt, pepper and chipotle seasoning. Place chicken skin side down in the hot pan and sear for about 5 minutes, or until skin is golden and crispy (you are only going to flip once). Flip chicken over and cook for an additional 4-5 minutes.

In a small bowl combine the orange juice, zest, honey and mustards. whisk until combimed and pour over the chicken. Place pan in the oven for 40-45 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and sauce is thickened.
