Chocolate Banana Bread Quinoa Porridge

2 1/2 cup cooked quinoa

2 bananas, sliced

1 1/2 scoops Wellmade Restorative Balance

1/2 cup almond milk

1 tbsp maple syrup

pinch Himalayan sea salt

dash vanilla

1/4 cup walnuts

2 tbsp chocolate chips or to your liking


Place cooked quinoa into a medium size saucepan. Add 1 banana and remaining ingredients, mixing to combine. Heat over medium low heat for about 5 minutes adding more almond milk if mixture seems too dry. Porridge shouldn’t be soupy but you don't want it bone dry either. Divide into 2 bowls. Top with additional banana slices and chocolate chips.

You can make this mixture ahead without heating, portion out into 2 containers and store in the refrigerator overnight for a grab and go breakfast. Microwave till warm if desired.
