prep time: 5 minutes | Cook Time: 12 minutes | serves 2 - 4

2 - 4 ribeye steaks (or steaks of your choosing) I love SpringCut Cattle Co. Grassfed Steaks

1 scoop wellmade restorative Balance

2 tbsp fresh coffee grounds

1 tbsp smoked paprika

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

1 tbsp sea salt

1 tsp black pepper

Mix together all the ingredients to make the rub for the steaks. lightly oil the steaks and generously rub with the seasoning mix. allow steaks to sit at room temperature for 15 minutes. meanwhile preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat. When the pan is hot, add the steaks to the pan (do not over-crowd, cook in batches or use 2 pans if necessary - you can also grill the steaks). Sear the meat for about 2-3 minutes on each side. YOu want to a form a nice crust so don’t mess with the meat and move it around until it is time to flip. Move the skillet to the oven for about 5 mintues to finished cooking.

Remove steaks to a cutting board and allow to rest for 8-10 minutes before serving.
