Quinoa yogurt bowl with chia berry jam
prep time: 10 minutes | Serves: 2
2 cups cooked quinoa (room temperature or chilled)
2 cups yogurt of choice (I use So Delicious non-dairy coconut milk yogurt)
2 cups berries (fresh or frozen)
1 tbsp. maple syrup
1 tbsp. chia seeds
2 tbsp. almond butter
1 - 2 scoops of the Wellmade Restorative Superfood Booster Blend of your choice
In a medium size saucepan combine the berries, syrup and chia seeds and cook over medium heat, stirring often until the berries start to break down (can mash with a spoon to help them along) for about 5 minutes. remove from heat and let sit to cool slightly or refrigerate up to 1 week.
Stir 1-2 scoops of wellmade Restorative Superfood BLend into the yogurt.
combine 1 cup of quinoa and 1 cup of yogurt into each bowl (or save other portions for another day). Swirl together and top with a heaping scoop of chia berry jam and drizzle with almond butter.
